Bilz presents the new S3D Slim: A slim synchro tapping chuck with the proven advantages of S3D technology, ideal for complex clamping operations with difficult contours. This slimmer version offers a compact design and is particularly suitable for demanding interfering contours.

S3D Slim acts as a damping link between the synchronised spindle and the threading tool, compensates for pitch differences and is specially designed for threading in workpieces with challenging interfering contours. There are variants for internal coolant supply or minimum quantity lubrication.

With different versions, Bilz enables large overhang lengths with standard tools without having to resort to special threading tools. The S3D Slim is available in various sizes and projection lengths for threads from M 4 to M 10 and offers flexibility for different requirements.
